Trump Hate Map: People of Color Harrassed by Trump and His Supporters

We’ve seen the proof since his campaign launch in June 2015.

http://americasvoice.org/trump-hate-map/

President-elect Donald Trump’s xenophobic rhetoric didn’t just push his fellow candidates to the right on immigration (in what has become known as the “Trump Effect”). It’s gone beyond the political world and injected itself into everyday life — and, in many instances across dozens of states, in a very violent ways.

This map shows documented instances where President-elect Donald Trump, his supporters, or his staff have harassed or attacked Latinos, immigrants, Muslim-American, African-Americans, and other minority and marginalized groups.

You can view individual incidents on the map by clicking directly on the Trump head “markers,” or you can click on the box-shaped symbol at the top left corner of the map to see a pull-down list of the incidents.

Brief Summary Man Charged With Assault After Punching Black Man And Telling Him Donald Trump Will Deport Him

Detailed Description A trio of Bangor City Council members is denouncing what they say was a hate crime against a black man in downtown Bangor Friday night. Police charged Joshua Pendergast, 42, of Bangor with misdemeanor assault late Monday.

Bangor City Council Chair Joe Baldacci, writing Sunday on his Facebook page, said, “[Two] days ago near Essex and Somerset streets in Bangor a young African American man was punched in the face and pushed to the ground, without any provocation, by an individual who after the assault told the African American man to watch out because Trump could deport him.

“Let’s be clear Bangor does not tolerate this kind of behavior,” Baldacci added.

Similar Facebook messages were posted by Councilors Sarah Nichols and Ben Sprague, who said he was sickened by the reported attack.

Brief Summary The Family Of A Young Biracial Boy Says He Was Hung By A Rope By Teenagers

Detailed Description The family of an 8-year-old biracial boy in Claremont, New Hampshire, said a group of teenagers hurled rocks at him, called him racially charged words, and then pulled a rope around his neck and hung him.

The boy’s grandmother, Lorrie Slattery, said the incident occurred on an afternoon in late August when her grandson was playing with teenagers in the neighborhood in a backyard.

“The (teenagers) said, ‘Look at this,’ supposedly putting the rope around their necks,” Slattery told the Valley News. “One boy said to (her grandson), ‘Let’s do this,’ and then pushed him off the picnic table and hung him.” The boy survived.

The alleged details of the events are based on Slattery’s account, which itself is based on what the boy and his 11-year-old sister, who was present, told their mother, Cassandra Merlin.

The boy’s uncle, Lyric Merlin, posted a photo of the boy’s injured neck on Facebook on Aug. 28, the day of the alleged incident.

“My nephew was hung from a tree by a 14yr old who claims ‘it was an accident,” Merlin wrote. “I don’t care what kind of excuse this teenager has but you DO NOT play with somebody’s life.”

Brief Summary South Boston brothers plead guilty to brazen beating

Detailed Description It was not enough for two South Boston brothers to urinate on a sleeping homeless man in August. They punched him repeatedly, and beat him with a metal pole. They called him a “wetback.”

Then they high-fived each other and walked away.

On Monday, the brothers — Scott Leader, 38, and Steven Leader, 30 — pleaded guilty to several felony charges in the unprovoked attack, including assault and battery, intimidation, and civil rights violations.

Scott Leader, who prosecutors said has a history of hate crimes against minorities, was sentenced to three years in state prison. Steven Leader was sentenced to at least two years behind bars.

Both sentences are followed by three years of probation.

One of the South Boston brothers accused of beating and urinating on the victim said he was inspired in part by Donald Trump.

The Dorchester attack drew national attention because of its random cruelty and explicit nature. Prosecutors said the men beat 58-year-old Guillermo Rodriguez because they thought he was an illegal immigrant. Scott Leader told police the violence was acceptable because the victim was homeless and Hispanic.

“Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported,” Scott Leader said after the attack, according to authorities.

In a mostly empty Boston courtroom, Suffolk Superior Court Justice Peter B. Krupp denounced the attack as “cowardly and despicable.”

Suffolk County prosecutor Nicole Rimar said the incident “was an unprovoked attack on a sleeping man based completely off racial hostility.”

Detailed Description Police in North Brookfield are investigating a possible hate crime after a 14-year-old African-American boy reported a passenger in a car threw a hatchet at him and yelled a racial slur as he walked home from school, an official said.

The boy got off the bus near South Main Street and was heading home when around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, when two people drove by in a black Jeep, Officer Chris Donais said.

“The passenger opened up the door, threw what appeared to be hatchet at him, yelled a racial slur, and drove off,” Donais said during a telephone interview Wednesday night. The passenger’s face was covered during the alleged incident, and nobody reported seeing it happen.

The boy was not injured, according to Donais. Police were unable to locate the hatchet or find the suspects and their car.

Brief Summary Trump Supporters Bombard Nurse, Children With Threats

Detailed Description A home health care nurse in Maine said this week that supporters of President-elect Donald Trump have attacked her and her family with more than 100 calls because conservative websites published the wrong number.

Debbie Oram explained to the Bangor Daily News that the callers are upset at the owner of Turner LP Gas, who said he would not deliver gas to anyone who voted for the president-elect because he believes Trump is the antichrist.

Although Oram has no connection to the gas company, she has received more than 100 calls since Friday. It turns out that her number is one digit off from the number of the gas company. While some of the callers have been polite, the nurse said others have been downright scary.

“I’d appreciate anything you can do to put it out there so these calls will stop,” Oram told the paper. “I would hate to change my number but that’s what I’ll have to do if this doesn’t stop. We’ve had our number for years.”

According to Oram, some of the calls threatened her 21-year-old daughter and her 11-year-old son. Her son was so frightened that he began sleeping in his mother’s bedroom.

“They’re saying rude and disgusting things,” she remarked. “I had to go to my doctor today for more anxiety medication because of it.”

Brief Summary Arsonist’s threat to ‘torture’ immigrants a hate crime, say Charlotte police

Detailed Description An attempt to burn an east Charlotte store that included a note warning of plans to “torture” immigrants is being investigated as a hate crime by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

Police say officers were called at 9:59 p.m. Thursday to a fire at the Central Market, a Nepali Indian store at 5718 Albemarle Road in Charlotte. On arrival, officers were advised by the Charlotte Fire Department that the fire was contained to the front door and burned itself out by their arrival.

Investigators say one of the windows in the door had been broken out with a rock and a note was left near the door. The note stated “the suspect did not want any refugee business owners and that they would torture the owner if they did not leave and go back to where they came from,” according to police.

It was signed “White America.”

Brief Summary Man Charged With Battery After Punching Latino Worker In Back Of Head \”For Donald Trump\”

Detailed Description hite Florida man has been charged with battery after he was accused of punching an Hispanic man in the back of the head “for Donald Trump.”

The Gainesville Sun reported that the incident occurred on Nov. 10 while the victim was cleaning the parking lot at a Gate Food Post store in Gainesville.

According to a police report obtained by Egberto Willies, Caleb Joseph Illig arrived at the parking lot at around 1:10 a.m. and began punching Pablo Echevarria in the back of the head.

The report said that Illig shouted, “Let’s Trump down,” as he punched Echevarria. When Echevarria asked why he was being attacked, Illig reportedly replied, “This is for Donald Trump.”

The charging document stated that Echevarria attempted “evasive movements” instead of fighting back. Eventually another employee intervened and Illig fled the scene. Echevarria told police that the back of his head and his neck were in pain after the attack but it was not immediately clear if he received medical assistance.

Police said that security footage “clearly shows [Illig] striking [Echevarria] in the back of the head, and completely corroborates the [victim] and [witness’] accounts of the incident.”

On Nov. 20, Illig told officers that he had “no recollection of the incident whatsoever,” and suggest that bipolar disorder and alcohol were to blame.

Illig was charged with simple battery.

Brief Summary Armed Trump Supporter Intimidates Woman And Child At Polling Location

Detailed Description A man wearing a Donald Trump shirt and carrying a weapon stood outside a voting location in Loudoun County, Virginia, on Friday. Authorities in the nation’s richest county are apparently OK with that.

Erika Cotti encountered the man when she went to vote at the county’s registrar’s office, she told The Huffington Post. Virginia doesn’t have early voting per se, but voters can cast in-person absentee ballots for a host of reasons, like if they’re going to be out of the county or city on Election Day.

“I had my 9-year-old son with me. I felt intimidated,” Cotti said. “And I had to explain to my 9-year-old why a man with a 357 magnum is standing outside the polling station.”

Cotti said the man offered her a Republican sample ballot, which she declined.

“He’s like, ‘Who are you going to vote for, crooked Hillary?’ And I was like, that’s really none of your business,” Cotti said, adding that the man was standing in the sidewalk outside of the office when they left and blocking their path.

Judy Brown, Loudoun County registrar, confirmed that the man was standing outside her office in Leesburg and handing out GOP literature.

“There is a gentleman standing outside the office with a holstered gun,” Brown told HuffPost. “According to law enforcement, because Virginia is open carry, he’s allowed to have it.”

Brief Summary “Black Lives Don’t Matter”, “Ni**er”: Trump Supporter Attacks Black Driver

Detailed Description 29-year-old Brandon Levston says he became the victim of a horrifying and racially charged verbal assault ― one he says shows “exactly why” people need to get out and vote Tuesday.

The incident occurred in a parking lot outside a Memphis shopping mall after Levston was involved in a traffic altercation with a white male driver, The Commercial Appeal reported.

“What’s up, buddy?” the man, a supporter of Republican nominee Donald Trump, says after Levston began filming the encounter. “Hey, Trump. Trump all the way! Trump!”

Then the bigot shows his true colors, calling Levston a “n****r” numerous times, mocking the black man’s speech and coaching him on the definition of words like “matter” ― as in “black lives don’t matter” ― and racial epithets.

Brief Summary Florida Man Accused of Setting Store Fire Thought Owners were Muslims

Detailed Description A 64-year-old Fort Pierce man who wanted to “run the Arabs out of of our country” remains jailed Saturday on $30,000 bond, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.

Richard Leslie Lloyd  was arrested Friday after he tried to set fire to a Port St. Lucie convenience store, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said. Lloyd reportedly told investigators he assumed the owner of a convenience store at Prima Vista and Airoso boulevards was Muslim and it made him mad “due to what they are doing in the Middle East.”

He was taken into custody after investigators responded shortly after 7:30 a.m. to reports of a suspicious person at the Met Mart convenience store. Deputies arrived to find that a dumpster had been rolled in front of the doors on the convenience store and set on fire.

Upon seeing deputies, Lloyd put his hands behind his back and said “take me away,” Sheriff Ken Mascara said. The St. Lucie County Fire District extinguished the fire. The store was not open and its security shutters were closed and intact.

“It’s unfortunate that Mr. Lloyd made the assumption that the store owners were Muslim when, in fact, they are of Indian descent,” Mascara said. “Regardless, we will not tolerate violence based on age, race, color, ancestry, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, homeless status, mental or physical disability.”

Brief Summary Man Kills One, Injures Two Whom He Suspected Were Iranians

Detailed Description Less than five hours after a man shot up a Kansas bar, killing one Indian man and wounding two other people in an apparently racially motivated attack, an Applebee’s bartender 70 miles away made a 911 call.

The woman on the phone told the dispatcher that a man had come into her bar and told her he “had done something really bad and he was on the run from the police.”

The man wouldn’t tell her what he did but kept asking her to allow him to stay at her house. The bartender persisted, persuading him to tell her what happened. “He said he shot and killed two Iranian people in Olathe,” the bartender said.

She read the news and sure enough, noticed that a few hours earlier, a shooting had taken place in Olathe, a city about 20 miles southwest of Kansas City. Her 911 call, later released by a local television station, led authorities to locate Adam Purinton, 51, of Olathe, late Wednesday and take him into custody. The phone call recording supports witness statements that the bar shooter thought the two men, Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Madasani, were of Middle Eastern descent.

They were actually Indian nationals employed by the technology firm Garmin. They had received master’s degrees in the United States. Kuchibhotla died from his injuries Wednesday, and Madasani was released from the hospital the following day. An American who was wounded when he tried to intervene, Ian Grillot, remains hospitalized but continues to improve, doctors said.

Brief Summary School District Apologizes After White Students Flash Trump Sign, Turn Backs On Black Players

Detailed Description A group of cowboy hat-clad high school students turned their backs and displayed a Donald Trump sign as the starting roster for a predominantly black basketball team was announced before a game in Missouri.

The pregame prank at Warrensburg High School occurred as the home team prepared for tipoff against the visiting Center High School Yellowjackets on Monday evening.

A Facebook video, viewed over 630,000 times by Thursday morning, shows a group of at least two dozen students with their backs turned to the court. Some of the students are wearing camo overalls and cowboy hats, and a Trump/Pence campaign sign can be seen held up among them.

“Let it be known how RACIST Warrensburg High School students are,” a caption read to the video, recorded by an attendee. “I’m appalled by the nonsense I’ve just witnessed with my own two eyes…If this was the Yellowjackets house, nothing but RESPECT would’ve been giving to these cowards.”

Warrensburg superintendent Scott Patrick condemned the Trump-tinged theatrics.

Brief Summary Attack on Milwaukee Muslim woman was a hate crime, local and national groups say

Detailed Description National and local Muslim civil rights and advocacy groups are calling for Milwaukee police to investigate as a hate crime an attack on a Muslim woman who says a man demanded she remove her hijab and beat her.

“You can’t get a clearer hate crime than this,” said Janan Najeeb, president of the Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition.

“This was not a robbery,” Najeeb said Wednesday. “There was an individual telling her to take her scarf off, ripped it off and started beating her up. This is clearly a hate crime.”

The woman, who has not been publicly identified, told a local TV station she was walking near S. 13th St. and W. Layton Ave. about 6 a.m. Monday when a car pulled alongside her and a man got out, demanding she take off her hijab, or head scarf.

The woman tried to fight him and “he threw me on the floor, then he beat me like an animal,” the woman told WITI-TV (Channel 6). The man drew a knife and slashed at her clothing, said the woman, who showed the cameras her bloodstained head scarf.

After the woman got home, she suffered a seizure and went to the hospital. She was released Tuesday.

Brief Summary We’re Going to Kill All Of You

Detailed Description Three Fargoans, originally from Somalia, were stopped Tuesday evening outside of Walmart by a white woman from Mapleton and threatened while dozens of onlookers did nothing to intervene.

The women who were verbally attacked, Rowda Soyan, Sarah and Laleyla Hassan, were enjoying a day off from work when a blonde woman approached. Before they could enter the store around 5:30 p.m., the incident began, and video footage started halfway through the exchange.

“You’re a racist person, and I’m not going back to my country,” Soyan said in near-perfect English in the video.

“I’m an American,” the white woman, who later commented on Facebook about the Youtube video, said. According to the post her name is Amber Elizabeth Hensley, and she is a CPA for Horab & Wentz.

“What are you going to do?” Soyan said.

“We’re going to kill all of you, we’re going to kill every one of you fucking Muslims.”

“I am making a video and I am going to show it to the police,” Soyan said.

“Do you think the police care? Why are you in our country anyway?”

The incident marks the fifth such case this year, Hukun Abdullahi, co-founder of United African Youths, and founder of Afro American Development Association, said.

“It is happening, and I think this must be stopped,” Abdullahi said. “I don’t see any leaders condemning this issue. This will keep continuing.”

During the incident, people entering and exiting the Walmart on 13th Avenue stopped to watch, but no one tried to help.

“No one stood up for us, nobody even said a word, it was a scary moment for all of us,” Soyan said. “She went on and on, and it was really really scary. Out of nowhere, she just came and said those hateful words. It was an ‘Are you out of your mind’ moment?”

Soyan called police, and a report was made under case number 17-61490. Fargo Police were contacted for comment, but were not available.

“Her car had a Trump sign, and she said he’s the one who is going to send us back to our country,” Soyan said.

Brief Summary Iowa Elementary School Vandalized With \”Trump\”, \”KKK\”

Detailed Description Muscatine police are investigating after racial slurs were spray-painted on McKinley Elementary School over the holiday weekend. The school was marred by derogatory words pertaining to the gay community and black people. The spray paint covered walls, windows and even playground equipment. Educators at McKinley say they were at a loss for words when they first heard about what happen to their school.

For school administrator Lori Shield, the derogatory words written on the side of the school were heartbreaking.

“What goes through my head is, how can anyone be that hateful.” said Shield, who’s been with the school for 11 years. “Especially at a school, where we’re teaching innocence and pride and respect.”

Shield says even though the words are gone now, the reality that the kids were exposed to hatred is what hurts the most.

“Very emotional, when I came around the building and saw the wording it hurt me a great deal, this building and the people in it are my family,” said Shields.

Brief Summary Man Charged With Making Bomb Threats Against Jewish Community Centers

Detailed Description A former reporter for a news website was charged on Friday with making more than a half-dozen bomb threats against Jewish community centers, schools and a Jewish history museum, federal authorities said.

The man, Juan Thompson, 31, of St. Louis, made some of the threats using his own name and others implicating a former girlfriend as part of an effort to intimidate her, the authorities said in a federal complaint unsealed on Friday in Federal District Court in Manhattan.

In one threat, made on Feb. 1 against a Jewish school in Farmington Hills, Mich., the complaint says, Mr. Thompson claimed he had placed two bombs in the school and was “eager for Jewish newtown,” an apparent reference to the 2012 school massacre in Newtown, Conn., in which a gunman killed 20 students and six school employees.

Brief Summary A California waiter refused to serve 4 Latina women until he saw ‘proof of residency’

Detailed Description As the waiter walked up to the table, Carrillo figured she’d splurge on the grilled-cheese sandwich and pay the $2 up-charge to add some of the restaurant’s signature bacon. To start, maybe she’d share a watermelon and cheese plate with her sister and friends.

But the mood soured quickly after the waiter appeared. Before he could serve the four Latina women, he said, they needed to show proof of residency. “I need to make sure you’re from here,” he said.

Flummoxed, the four women handed over their IDs. But as what was happening sank in, they fumed. “I looked at my sister and [my friend], and I said, did he really just say that?”

A few moments later, they walked over to the manager and told him what had happened. He offered them a separate section and his business card to make things right — but they had already decided to leave.

Still livid a few hours later, Carrillo, a 24-year-old business analyst from Orange County, Calif., posted about the incident on Facebook:

“For a few seconds I thought maybe he was being a smart a– or joking but the fact that he said ‘I need to make sure you’re from here before I serve you’ was completely unacceptable.

How many others has he said this too? I hope this employee is reprimanded for his actions. No establishment should tolerate discriminatory actions from their employees. PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!”

People did. In a week, Carrillo’s post had been shared more than 600 times, and more than 100 people had posted comments.

Seeing the social media backlash, the restaurant’s management contacted Carrillo that Monday. They offered a VIP experience at the restaurant and pledged to donate 10 percent of the weekend’s proceeds to a nonprofit organization of the group’s choice. The four women declined the lavish meal, but asked that the restaurant donate the money to Orange County Immigrant Youth United.

Brief Summary Washington Woman charged With hate-crime After Trailing Latina Driver And Threatening To Ram Her Car

Detailed Description A King County woman was charged with a hate crime after allegedly posting a video on Facebook that prosecutors say shows her tailing a Hispanic woman in her car, railing against the other driver for having “Spanish privilege” and threatening to ram her vehicle.

Sandra Jametski, 48, of White Center, was has been held on $500,000 bail since early December, charged with malicious harassment, the state’s hate crime statute. Jametski is also known as Sandra Diann Huddleson.

King County prosecutors said Jametski followed a neighbor as the neighbor drove to her child’s school and that she recorded her racist rant on her phone.

“This person wrecked my car, lied to a frickin’ cop,” Jametski appears to say on the Facebook video. “You get a super good look everybody, this is what calls to be Spanish privileged in America.”

The video, which is being used as evidence in case, appears to record Jametski as her voice grows angrier and the dialogue becomes laced with obscenities as she claims that the driver caused an earlier crash.

“This is America. We don’t drive like that here. We don’t drive like you’re in Mexico, lady,” the woman said in the video before making remarks about citizenship and deportation.

Prosecutors said Jametski filmed the 10-minute video as she followed the woman on her usual 2½-mile drive to her son’s school. Once at the school parking lot, videos show Jametski getting out of her vehicle and angrily confronting the woman while still recording.

On April 29, Christian showed up to the right-wing “March for Free Speech” on 82nd Avenue in Montavilla with a baseball bat in an attempt to assault left-wing protesters. The bat was quickly confiscated by Portland police officers. He ranted how he was a nihilist. He’d soon yelled racial slurs (“fuck all you n*****s”) and gave the Nazi salute throughout the day. He yelled “Hail Vinland” throughout the day.

A few Portland police officers on April 29 appeared to be familiar with Christian, but not threatened by him. They claimed he had a head injury and was mentally ill.

Brief Summary Hate Crime Suspect: ‘Arab, You Need to Leave’

Detailed Description A man was arrested after an altercation at Al-Aqsa Restaurant on State Street in Salem.

Jason Kendall, 52, is accused of attacking a restaurant employee with a pipe and telling him to “go back to your country, terrorist,” court documents state.

According to the officer’s report, the victim said Kendall was yelling and screaming, causing a disturbance in the restaurant. The victim reportedly asked Kendall to leave, and he did. But he came back 5 minutes later yelling, “get out of America,” and ” Arab, you need to leave, a**hole.”

The victim said Kendall threw something plastic at him, hitting him in the head, according to court documents. Kendall then came at him with a pipe and allegedly used it to him over the head. The victim said it left a small bump on his head.

After he was arrested, Kendall told the officer he saw a “Saddam Hussein looking guy” and he believed a woman in the restaurant was a slave. He said he went inside to tell her she was “free to leave.”

Kendall said he also saw an “evil totem” with Arabic writing on it. He told police he threw the “totem” at the victim. He said the man in the restaurant had something in his hand under a napkin, which he thought was an ice pick. Kendall said he defended himself by hitting the man in the head with a metal pipe.

Kendall was charged with felony assault and unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor intimidation. According to the arresting officer’s statement, the incident is being considered a hate crime.

Brief Summary Two Cops Were Fired After Allegedly Beating A Man And Calling Him A \”Fake American\”

Detailed Description Two rookie police officers in New Orleans were fired Wednesday after they allegedly beat up a Latino man and called him a “fake American.”

Spencer Sutton and John Galman were arrested and charged with simple battery following the incident that occurred at a bar on Tuesday when the two former New Orleans Police Department officers were off duty. They pleaded not guilty to charges after a court hearing on Wednesday. Their bond was set at $1,500 each.

An ongoing police investigation will determine whether they will face more serious charges. A police and FBI task force is “actively looking into whether this case meets the elements of a potential civil rights violation,” an NOPD spokesperson told BuzzFeed News.

But Trump is Not A Racist: Trump Retweets Racist Video Showing Supporter Yelling ‘White Power’

Trump Retweets Racist Video Showing Supporter Yelling ‘White Power’
By Michael D Sheer
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-retweets-racist-video-showing-supporter-yelling-white-power/ar-BB164yHR?li=BBnb7Kz

President Trump on Sunday retweeted a video of one of his supporters yelling “White power!,” once again using the vast reach of his social media platforms to inflame racial divisions in a nation roiled by weeks of protests about police brutality against black people and demands for social justice reforms.

The edited racist video shows a white man riding in a golf cart bearing “Trump 2020” and “America First” signs during what appears to be an angry clash over the president and race between white residents of a Florida retirement community. Mr. Trump deleted the tweet more than three hours after posting it.

In response to a protester shouting “Where’s your white hood?” and other taunts, the man in the golf cart pumps his fist in the air and says “White power!” twice. The two-minute video continues to show profane exchanges between protesters and other Trump supporters riding on more golf carts.

The president retweeted the video to his millions of followers just after 7:30 a.m., thanking “the great people of The Villages,” the Florida retirement community where the clash apparently took place. He added: “The Radical Left Do Nothing Democrats will Fall in the Fall. Corrupt Joe is shot. See you soon!!!”

The tweet was widely criticized as racist and insensitive, and again demonstrated the president’s willingness use social media to amplify some of the most hateful commentary of some of his followers, even at a moment of national unrest.

Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, the only black Republican senator, called the video “offensive” and asked Mr. Trump to take it off his Twitter page.

“There is no question he should not have retweeted it, and he should just take it down,” Mr. Scott said on the CNN program “State of the Union.” “We can play politics with it or we can’t. I’m not going to. I think it’s indefensible. We should take it down.”

Mr. Trump deleted it less than an hour after Mr. Scott’s comments, but he did not condemn the “white power” statement or specifically disavow the sentiment expressed by his supporter.

Judd Deere, a White House spokesman, said Mr. Trump “is a big fan of The Villages.”

“He did not hear the one statement made on the video,” Mr. Deere said. “What he did see was tremendous enthusiasm from his many supporters.”

John R. Bolton, the former national security adviser who just released a scathing book about Mr. Trump, said on Sunday that the president’s inattention to detail made it possible that he did not notice the racist comments.

“He doesn’t pay attention to a lot of things,” Mr. Bolton said on “State of the Union.” “It’s entirely possible that he tweeted this video because he saw the sign, I think it was in the first go-kart that said the Trump 2020 or something like that. That’s all he needed to see. Not paying attention. Not considering all the implications of information he gets.”

But Mr. Bolton added, “It may be that you can draw a conclusion that he heard it, and it was racist, and he tweeted it to promote the message. It’s a legitimate conclusion to draw.”

Either way, the president’s initial decision to approvingly share the blatant support for white supremacy was the latest example of his willingness to use his vast Twitter following to inject incendiary commentary into the ongoing debate in the country over systemic racism.

In May, as protests erupted after the killing of George Floyd, a black man, by a Minneapolis police officer, Mr. Trump tweeted, “When the looting starts, the shooting starts,” a phrase with a long history of connection to racism.

More recently, Mr. Trump has used his Twitter feed to attack protesters who have pulled down statues of Confederate generals, calling them “arsonists, anarchists, looters, and agitators.” On Saturday night, he tweeted out 15 “wanted” posters for people the U.S. Park Police were seeking in connection with vandalism in Lafayette Square, just outside the White House.

The video on Sunday — which could not be independently verified by The New York Times — appeared to show a slow-moving parade through the Florida community with supporters of Mr. Trump riding golf carts, wearing red, white and blue, and displaying pro-Trump materials.

Protesters lined the street, many of them screaming epithets, accusing the Trump supporters of being racists and holding signs calling the president a bigot.

In his tweet, Mr. Trump did not specifically refer to the man who yelled “white power.” But his reference to “the great people of The Villages” was an eerie echo of his comments in the summer of 2017, when he responded to deadly violence by white supremacists in Charlottesville, Va., by saying there were “very fine people on both sides.”

Joseph R. Biden Jr., the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, invoked the president’s comments about Charlottesville in response to the video on Sunday.

“We’re in a battle for the soul of the nation — and the President has picked a side,” Mr. Biden tweeted.

Mr. Trump has repeatedly denied that he was expressing support for white supremacy with his “both sides” comment. But the tweet on Sunday underscores what has become a hallmark of his presidency since he took office: a willingness to embrace divisive comments when they are coming from people he perceives to be his supporters.

The president has routinely retweeted far-right messages and a conspiracy theory known as QAnon, which includes people who believe that a “deep state” in the government is filled with satanic pedophiles. Mr. Trump once retweeted VB Nationalist, an anonymous account that has promoted a hoax about top Democrats worshiping the Devil and engaging in child sex trafficking.

“I’ve been retweeted by the President of the United States, President Trump!” the author of the anonymous account tweeted at the time.

An analysis of Mr. Trump’s Twitter account by The New York Times at the end of last year found that the president had retweeted at least 145 unverified accounts that had pushed conspiracy, racist or other fringe content, including more than two dozen that were later suspended by Twitter.

Recently, Twitter has begun to crack down directly on Mr. Trump’s feed, posting warnings on some of his messages. In May, when the president tweeted about shooting following looting, the company added a statement to the post.

“This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible,” the company wrote. Later, when the president warned that efforts by protesters to set up an “autonomous zone” in Washington, D.C., would be “met with serious force!,” Twitter put up a similar message and blocked it from being retweeted.

The quick deletion of the video on Sunday was a rare instance in which Mr. Trump backed down in the face of criticism. His previous tweets have remained online despite the company’s online warnings.

Trump, Kristo Kracker Krazies and Trumpturds want to Boogaloo? Let’s Boogie then

To the haters, the takers, the liars, all the vultures and the bottom feeding scum
The FCC, the FBI and every tin god with a badge and a gun
You talk and talk, you preach and bitch but your words don’t mean a thing
You get what you give, you give what you get
Just the way it’s always been

I choose death before dishonor
I’d rather die than live down on my knees
Bury me like a soldier, with my dignity!

This is why Trump, his Kristo Kracker Krazies and Trumpturds FEAR Anti-Fascists.

You imitate the ostracized, put your head beneath the sand
Your cup it runneth over, must be rough to live so grand
You reap what you sew, you pay what you owe unless you bathe yourself in greed
You rob and you take, your world is fake
There’s no honor amongst the thieves

I choose death before dishonor
I’d rather die than live down on my knees
Bury me like a soldier, with my dignity!

Fuck!
You’re self righteous, self pretentious
Your ways are not for me
You’re deluded, so confused
Your world I dominate

I choose death before dishonor
I’d rather die than live down on my knees
Bury me like a soldier…

Since a real President, Barack Obama was elected? Trumpturds and Taliban Kristo Kracker Krazies have been promoting either a Civil War or a race war called a Boogaloo. Time for them to put up or shut the fuck up

Don’t you all get sick and tired of these troglodyte Trumpturds and Taliban Kristo Kracker Krazies spewing from their well used outhouse pieholes how they want to start a race war and take over the country and install their Fascist Kristo Kracker Krazie Turd Reich upon us all. For almost 12 years straight? We have heard these generational inbred, farm animal fucking, twisted pieces of shit, who think they are supreme to all the rest of us, spew how they are going to rise up and take over. Their Civil War for Traitor Trump, or their Boogaloo for their White KKKunts.

They parade around our streets dressed up in their finest garb for war, but put most of these Gi Joe wanna be punks on a real battlefield? With real bullets and bombs taking them out? They would piss and shit their diapers and run like the little bitches they actually are.

Sure, these punks, these mental midget morons are “brave”. When they attack a single person, in a group? The sure are brave huh? Or when they hide in the shadows and shoot some unarmed person. Or run over a group of them in a crowd. Yeah, they sure are real “tough guys”, terrorizing basically defenseless people. But again? Let the odds be even and these pussies for Trump? With people blowing the heads off of the punks next to them? Or seeing their fucking retarded friends running screaming in flames as napalm or other similar weapons take out whole groups of them? Trust me, these punks will be the real snowflakes they are and surrender.

That is what my father always taught me. Stand up to bullies like these Trumpturds and Kristo Kracker Krazies. They are basically punks, scared of their own shadows, and to try to make up for their being real pussies? They do all they can to act tough. But you stand up to a bully and kick his ass? They learn not to fuck with you. And so? I started to kick bullies asses who picked on me, on my loved ones and my friends. I knocked the teeth out of one bully for biting my sister and friends. I buried a fucking fork in the forearm of one bully trying to steal my lunch. I beat one bully so fucking bad at the boarding school I went to for trying to steal my money he actually left the school and had to have around $30,000 worth of surgery to repair the damage I did to his punk bully face. I beat the hell out of a misogynist pig punk who thought it was his right to beat the shit out of a woman in the middle of the street. This is what you do to bully punks like these Trumpturds and Kristo Kracker Krazies pushing this Civil War and Boogaloo shit. You give them right back what they put forth and then? You watch these pussies, these punk bullies fold like the bitches they are. And? They hate it when you throw their hate, their bigotry, their insanity right back into their faces either.

Yeah, they do truly think they are tough. And yeah, some of these twisted Trumpturds are psychotically dangerous. But a full frontal lobotomy from a 50 cal Desert Eagle will take care of the problem. Or a whole group of these scumbags being doused with napalm and lit up like one of their racist crosses they light up as they have a fucking circle jerk dancing around their cross in their pointy hats and white dresses to swallow each others jizz as they jerk off for their heroes Hitler and Trump.

These assholes parade on our streets, dressed in their finest battle gear, flak jackets, helmets, and of course? Their small dick replacements. Thinking they are absolutely bad ass. Here is the funny thing though. In a real war? We give no fucking mercy. So you wear a bullet proof jacket? So what. Your legs and micro balls are exposed and we will not be wasting bullets on shooting center mass or head shots. No bitches, we will take your legs out first and then finish you punks off with full frontal lobotomies and I know a few people who will love using their Nazi head busting Louisville’s to bust your heads open.

I mean come on, look at what we will be fighting. Punks, who think because they play Call of Duty video games that makes them tough. Or because they hang out with their generational inbred butt buddies for a weekend shooting off their big, bad guns at their “KristoTaliban Traitor Training Camps”, that also makes them bad asses. But again? There is one huge difference between being at a gun gallery shooting off your gun and being on a real battlefield with people shooting back at you.

Most of these fuckers think the are part of the Master Race? Really? What master race is that? Generational inbreds? Daughter fucking? Flying flags of loser armies? Well they are masters at circle jerks that is for sure. Most of these punks dropped out of second grade home schooling cause they knocked up their teachers, or got knocked up by their teachers and daddy had to marry them off to their mommies, or uncles had to marry them off to their daddies, in shotgun weddings. Can’t you hear their theme song of Dueling Banjos playing now? This has to be a fucking family portrait of inbreds, really. I mean they sure do fit the neanderthal troglodyte stage of evolution. Well they never evolved in the first place, they just crawled out of the assholes of the amoebas, eating the shit from other ameobas asses in their well used outhouses they live in and call home.

Yeah basically? This is the bulk, and I do mean BULK of Traitor Trump’s army. For real. Most of these Trumpturds could not follow Commander Bone Spurs up Pork Chop Hill on the 9th green of Mar-A-Largo golf course. Most of these fucks could not walk a half a block in full battle gear without crying for their mommies to change their diapers.

Again? These fucking morons? NEVER read their hero Hitler’s ideology on what the Master Race and Aryan Nation was.

Adolf Hitler thought that people of Northern European descent were a superior race to all others known as the Aryan Race. Throughout World War 2 his goal was for that perfect race known as the “Übermensch” which translates as “Super Man”. Their goal was to wipe out those of not pure Aryan descent or the “Untermensch” which translates as “Sub-Human”. Because Hitler believed people such as Jews to be impure, he killed many of them in his quest for utopia. He also believed that the reason that the Germans lost World War I was that the German race had been weakened due to the inter-marriage of Übermensch and Untermensch.

The idea of the “Master Race” came from a 19th century theory which claimed that there was a hierarchy of races. The bottom of that hierarchy included dark-skinned people and Jews. In the middle were the Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italians who were considered semi-tainted by mixing with the Untermensch. The top of the hierarchy were Germans, Swedes, Icelanders, Norwegians, Danes, English, and Dutch who were considered the Aryans. From a leaflet ‘The Nazi Race’ in 1929 “The Aryan race is tall, long legged, slim. The race is narrow-faced, with a narrow forehead, a narrow high-built nose and a lower jaw and prominent chin the skin is rosy bright and the blood shines through ….. the hair is smooth, straight or wavy – possibly curly in childhood. The colour is blond.”

In order to get a pure race, Hitler created a selective human breeding program called the Lebensborn program. He made breeding facilities where Aryan women were recruited to have children with S.S. soldiers. Any German man who wanted to be part of the program had to prove that he was in perfect physical condition and is “racially pure” as far back as the year of 1750. Marriages between those of the Aryans and those who weren’t was considered a major crime. The Lebensborn program produced more the 42,000 babies before it was closed down in 1944. The Germans also captured Aryans from conquered countries which surrounded them. From just Poland, they kidnapped 200,000 Aryan children.

To be considered of the Aryan Race in Hitler’s eyes you didn’t just have to have blonde hair and blue eyes but you needed to be physically fit. The Lebensborn  program required male applicants to be at least 6 ft. tall near the end of it. Hitler thought people who were 6 ft.6 in. and taller as the highest creed of the  Übermensch and called them “Hünenmensch” and considered them to be the closest relatives to the original Germanic warrior tribes.

Nazi soldiers with that tribute were given a special medal called the Hünenkreuz and instant promotion to the status of S.S. officer. People who had the trait of gigantism were not considered as one of these special Germans because they grow abnormally tall due to a defective pituitary gland.

For every imperfect person with a disease or religion that Hitler didn’t like he killed them equaling an unimaginable amount of deaths just for the ideal human. Today people are still searching for the Aryans but we all know as a fact that these “perfect people” (or at least Hitler’s Aryans) were just perfect in the body not the mind. So for now humans will continue to be imperfect and I doubt we will ever find the true Aryans which Hitler thought he had found. It is as Miley Cyrus once said ,”Nobody’s perfect.”

If you white supremacist Trumpturd rejects of humanity want to get on your knees and suck the dick of your failed loser hero Hitler, who would have sent each and every one of you mongrel mutts to his death camps? Then have at it. You Trumpturd mental midget morons want to give up your life for Traitor Trump? Commander Bone Spurs who does not give one flying fuck about you, just like Hitler would not give one flying fuck about you? If you want to fucking die for the Kristo Kunt Kracker Talibans like Jim Jeffress, Paula Jones, Franklin Graham, Jim Bakker, Jerry Falwell Jr and the rest of the Fascist KristoTalibans?

THEN DROP YOUR FUCKING MICRONUTS AND POP OFF AND START YOUR BOOGALOO BULLSHIT. About 200 protesters came to Sugarman’s Corner, the local hotspot in downtown Klamath Falls, Oregon, last Sunday night to protest the killing of George Floyd.

Like in many of the protests that have recently sprung up in cities across the United States, the group was made up of white, black and Latino people, members of the Native American Klamath Tribes and people in the LGBTQ communities: a diverse coalition in a county of 68,000 where 9 out of every 10 residents are white, according to Census estimates. They held signs, many of which have become common during recent protests: “Black Lives Matter” and “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Though it was a small gathering, they had company.

Just across the street, hundreds of their mostly white neighbors were there for decidedly different reasons. They leaned in front of local businesses The Daily Bagel and Rick’s Smoke Shop wearing military fatigues and bulletproof vests, with blue bands tied around their arms. Most everyone seemed to be carrying something: flags, baseball bats, hammers and axes. But mostly, they carried guns.

They said they came with shotguns, rifles and pistols to protect their downtown businesses from outsiders. They had heard that antifa, paid by billionaire philanthropist George Soros, were being bused in from neighboring cities, hellbent on razing their idyllic town.

Frederick Brigham, 31, Klamath Falls resident and musician who goes by “Wreck the Rebel,” said he never thought Black Lives Matter protests would come to his town. As one of the few black men who lives there, he felt compelled to attend.

But the presence of armed people who clearly did not support their group was chilling.

“It felt like walking through an enemy war camp,” he said.

While large rallies in major cities have been the most visible part of recent social efforts to change how police treat black people, hundreds more have popped up in small, rural towns, where residents have marched and kneeled to protest police brutality.

Those protests — and some of the violence and looting that have accompanied them — have become the source of growing skepticism and paranoia in conservative circles. The most persistent rumors center on groups of antifa members being put on buses and sent to small towns to wreak havoc.

The rumors are unfounded. But that hasn’t stopped people in some communities, like Klamath Falls, from preparing for the worst. Towns from Washington state to Indiana have seen armed groups begin patrolling the streets after receiving warnings about an antifa invasion, often spurred by social media or passed along from friends. Those actions have yet to erupt in major violence but often bring heavily armed people in close contact with protesters, as it did in Klamath Falls.

The rumor

Tensions were already high in Klamath Falls. Peaceful protests 150 miles north in Eugene, Oregon, had been followed by a fire in the street and looting. On local social media, rumors were swirling that buses filled with outsiders were planning to infiltrate Klamath Falls to wreak similar havoc.

So some Klamath Falls residents armed themselves and hit the streets. Those that had children to look after watched the downtown protests from Facebook, according to comments left on the stream.

“As you can tell, we are ready,” one armed man said in a Facebook Live stream with 124,000 views. “Antifa members have threatened our town and said that they’re going to burn everything and to kill white people, basically.”

Beyond protecting the businesses on Main Street, the armed group asked: “Why would Black Lives Matter need to protest in Klamath Falls?”

The rally lasted about four hours with Klamath Falls Police Department officers standing between the two sets of protesters. On the north side of the street, protesters chanted “George Floyd.” On the south side of the street, chants of “USA” and “go home” erupted throughout the night.

“A lot of these people came out because they swore that antifa buses were in town,” Brigham said. “They couldn’t believe that I was from here. They thought I must be a black man that came from somewhere else.”

Like nearly every other county in the U.S., Klamath County and the county seat of Klamath Falls have private Facebook groups dedicated to local news, mostly filled with postings about lost dogs, local announcements and constant chatter about what’s heard over the police scanner. It was on Klamath County’s local Facebook news group that some 4,800 members came to talk about the potential threat of antifa, according to posts reviewed by NBC News.

Since nationwide protests began, President Donald Trump and U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr have without evidence blamed the antifa movement — a loose network of groups made up of radicals who rely on direct action, and sometimes violence, to fight the far right and fascism — for the looting and property damage seen during some of the otherwise peaceful rallies. Last week, Trump announced that he planned to designate antifa as a terrorist organization.

That unsubstantiated finger-pointing has coincided with viral rumors on social media — posts on Facebook and Nextdoor that buses filled with thousands of antifa members and anarchists were on their way to loot suburban neighborhoods. Some seen by NBC News featured a screenshot of a tweet by a fake antifa Twitter account that Twitter said was created by a white nationalist group.

The first mention of the buses coming to Klamath Falls came on Facebook.

“I am not one to spread false information,” one of the earliest posts stated. “There are two buses heading this way from Portland, full of ANTIFA members and loaded with bricks. Their intentions are to come to Klamath Falls, destroy it, and murder police officers. There have been rumors of the antifa going into residential areas to ‘fuck up the white hoods.’”

Some responding to the posts were incredulous, but few could argue when a screenshot of a direct message from Col. Jeff Edwards, the commander of the Oregon Air National Guard’s 173rd Fighter Wing, was posted in one of the groups.

“Team Kingsley, for your safety I ask you to please avoid the downtown area this evening. We received an alert that there may be 2 busloads of ANTIFA protesters en route to Klamath Falls and arriving in downtown around 2030 tonight,” the post stated.

Maj. Nikki Jackson, a spokeswoman for the 173rd Fighter Wing, confirmed in an email that the message had come from Edwards.

“This was an internal message sent by Col Edwards to the Citizen-Airmen of the 173d Fighter Wing for their situational awareness and safety,” Jackson said. “The alert was received from local law enforcement agencies here in Klamath Falls.”

As the day went on, the town buzzed with talk of the incoming rioters, and residents swarmed to Facebook to report what they were seeing.

“I saw some scattered SJWs and some in black at Albertsons,” one woman posted. “SJW” is a derogatory reference to social justice warriors.

The antifa buses became a kind of local scavenger hunt. Someone spotted an empty green bus at Klamath Community College. A white bus with “Black Lives Matter” and peace signs painted in green and blue was spotted in the Walmart parking lot. A local recognized that bus as belonging to a local musician, but others didn’t buy it. Someone reported a U-Haul in front of T.J. Maxx, or maybe it was the House of Shoes.

Same rumor, different states

Rumors of marauding antifa buses have popped up on local social media networks all across the country, sometimes leading to direct, dangerous action by locals and police departments.

In Forks, Washington, locals felled trees with chainsaws to block a road, fearing that a bus filled with antifa was headed to town. According to the Peninsula Daily News, the bus was occupied by a multi-racial family of four heading home from a campsite. It was eventually surrounded “by seven or eight carloads of people in the grocery store parking lot.”

Forks residents were warned of the antifa invaders by a local gun dealer’s viral video on Facebook.

Police and 911 dispatchers in South Bend, Indiana, were inundated with calls warning of “busloads of people coming in from the toll road.” One tweet, posted by several different, brand-new accounts using identical language, warned South Bend residents to “be in by 9 and lock all of your doors.”

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot decried a “concerted effort out there to misinform” after the city’s police scanner repeatedly warned of antifa buses on their way into town amid protests Saturday night.

NBC News reviewed similar warnings and posts of panic in local apps like Nextdoor and Facebook groups from all throughout the country this week. “Friends in the NYPD” warned of antifa “being sent to the suburbs” in one post. A post in a Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, Facebook group implored residents to “protect yourselves, your family and your businesses” from a “serious rumor” about a group “organizing to riot and loot.”

Similar warnings were posted in Nextdoor groups everywhere from Jacksonville, Florida, to Danville, California. Some local police departments and sheriff’s offices in Idaho and South Dakota posted to social media to assuage residents of the false antifa bus rumors that had gripped local social media.

Four hours away from Klamath Falls, in Coquille, Oregon, Curry County Sheriff John Ward warned residents on Tuesday in a Facebook post that “3 buss loads of ANTIFA protestors are making their way from Douglas County headed for Coquille then to Coos Bay.”

That night, hundreds gathered at the Coos County Courthouse with guns, awaiting arrival of the antifa buses, the Bandon Western World reported.

The morning after the non-riot, a local couple, Douglas and Debra Bankler, published an op-ed in the Western World, saying “there’s not a whole lot worth ‘looting,’ and ‘burning down’ in Coquille — and we mean that in a good way!”

The op-ed was titled “Taking on an imaginary enemy.”

Douglas Bankler told NBC News the antifa bus rumor may have started on Facebook, but it spread through the town like a real-life game of telephone.

“We live in a tiny, podunk, little Oregon beach town. Five square miles,” he said. “God, please don’t tell us this is going on all over the place.”

‘Antifa retreats’

In the end, Klamath Falls’ largest Black Lives Matter protest saw no looting, no fires and little violence, apart from a few thrown punches, instigated by the armed side of the street, several of the Black Lives Matter protesters told NBC News.

“There was never the feel of a large contingent of a lot of out-of-town folks,” Klamath Falls Police Department Capt. Ryan Brosterhous told local newspaper Herald and News.

One person was cited for disorderly conduct and several were detained and released. “Mostly intoxication,” Brosterhous told the newspaper. The Klamath Falls Police Department did not return emails and phone messages from NBC News.

The armed man who livestreamed the protest, who was worried about antifa coming to murder white people, posted an update to his Facebook page acknowledging the risks had been overblown. “I know your hearts and minds were in the right place,” he wrote, “but a lot of the info was bad.”

Still others remain convinced that antifa had been there that night, run off by the sight of hundreds of armed patriots.

And that’s the story spreading online.

“Antifa RETREATS From Suburb After Business Owner and Neighborhood Show Up With Guns,” stated the headline on the website NewsPunch, one of the internet’s most notorious fake news destinations. The article quotes a Facebook post by Dan Kline, the owner of a local billiards bar.

“I have never felt a threat to my business as I did last night,” Kline wrote in his post. “Antifa didn’t make it to the courthouse and my bar had no incidents. Antifa walked into a hornet’s nest. It was like a sixth grade football team walking into the Oakland Coliseum to take on the Raiders.”

Kline’s post received thousands of likes and shares and was posted in other local Facebook groups from Macomb County in Michigan to Sandpoint, Idaho, according to Facebook’s social media analysis tool, CrowdTangle.

Reached by phone, Kline said he was proud of the way the counterprotest took a stand against antifa and showed the world what would happen should any outside group try and bring a fight to Klamath Falls. But he also described a different scene than in his Facebook post: a peaceful protest from a “small group of kids.”

“I can see why they felt threatened somewhat, because they actually were,” Kline said of the Black Lives Matter protesters who faced the militia on Sunday. “We didn’t know what we were up against, you know?”

“They were just trying to make a peaceful demonstration, and they ran into a fight.”

Free from the threat of antifa, the armed residents of Klamath County have mostly stayed home in recent days. But Brigham and dozens of other protesters have continued to gather nightly at Sugarman’s Corner.

“It’s been a long time since I felt this much love,” Brigham said in a livestream from Thursday night’s protest, as a large van drove by.

“They got the big guy RV,” Brigham said to an audience of 14 viewers. “That’s not antifa. It’s just somebody in an RV trying to go on vacation.”

“A lot of people still think buses with antifa are coming,” he said. “Don’t believe in the fear. Believe in this love.”

Twitter says fake “Antifa” account was run by white supremacists

Twitter says fake “Antifa” account was run by white supremacists

Twitter has shut down multiple accounts that it says were operated by a white supremacist group posing as liberal groups encouraging violence.

Twitter said the white supremacist group Identity Evropa used one fake account, @Antifa_US, to call for violence in majority white suburbs, in the name of the Black Lives Matter movement. The account’s removal was first reported by NBC News.

“This account violated our platform manipulation and spam policy, specifically the creation of fake accounts. We took action after the account sent a Tweet inciting violence and broke the Twitter Rules” the company said.

Twitter said it has also targeted other fake accounts run by Identity Evropa, but did not provide examples. The company said the accounts posted hateful tweets targeting race, religion and sexual orientation.

A screengrab of a tweet that Twitter says was posted by white supremacists posing as supporters of the left-wing anti-fascist movement Antifa.

An Identity Evropa account purported to be associated with Antifa, a collection of loosely connected groups that organize against fascism. On Sunday, Attorney General William Barr said Antifa was associated with violence at recent protests. Officials have yet to show evidence to support this claim.

Without identifying any particular group, a May 31 Department of Homeland Security note warned that well-coordinated groups had “potentially compromised” law enforcement radio communications in Portland, Oregon over the weekend. The note warned that those seeking to incite violence in other locations could be “monitoring local law enforcement communications to identify vulnerabilities in their operational security posture.”

Democratic officials, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, have said without evidence that white supremacist groups have been involved in violence.

On Friday, Denver police seized assault rifles from at least two people associated with a group called the  “Boogaloo Bois” near the site of a protest.

In a report Monday, the Anti-Defamation League described the “Boogaloo Bois” as “right-wing anti-government extremists have also reacted to the protests and violence following the killing of George Floyd.”

“ADL’s Center on Extremism has been closely monitoring the protests nationwide, and it is our initial assessment that while a number of extremists – including anti-government agitators, anarchists and a handful of white supremacists – are taking an active role, these protests should not be categorized as “extremist” events at this point,” the organization said in its report.

The nonprofit said that although there are white supremacists among the “boogaloo” followers, the group’s focus is not explicitly race.

“Some white supremacists have also adopted the boogaloo concept, but most boogalooers are not white supremacist.  Rather, their orientation is anti-government and vehemently anti-police, a fact that has largely shaped their reactions to the protests against George Floyd’s killing,” the ADL said.

Christian Conspiracist: Black Lives Matter and Antifa Leaders Must Be Executed

Christian Conspiracist: Black Lives Matter and Antifa Leaders Must Be Executed

John Guandolo is a Nazi. We killed Nazis before like him, and we will do so again.

John Guandolo, a disgraced former FBI agent who appears to treat all brown people with beards as a threat to national security and once said Muslim women shouldn’t be allowed to hold public office, now has an even worse opinion.

He wants to see Black Lives Matter and Antifa leaders executed.

Which should definitely strike fear in the presidents of those organizations…

Trumpturds all deserve to be taken off the face of the earth.

He made the comments Thursday on the American Pastors Network’s “Stand in the Gap” radio program:

“It’s time to start crushing these enemies,” he continued. “The leaders of this defund the police movement are communists and jihadis. They’re Muslim Brotherhood organized organizations like the Islamic Circle of North America, the Islamic Society of North America. They’re designated terrorist groups like Hamas, the Council of American Islamic Relations. They are leaders of communist organizations like Black Lives Matter and antifa, and as this country has done in the past, we should round up the leaders and execute them for trying to revolt and overthrow the government. And if this doesn’t happen soon, we will lose this.

Nothing says the love of Christ like calling for a fatwa on your imaginary enemies…

John Guandolo is a Nazi. All Nazis should be punched in the face three ways. Hard, fast and continously.

Guandolo also calls George Floyd a “thug” — he wasn’t and it wouldn’t have mattered if he was — suggesting that his cruel death was somehow warranted.

The only people who have a problem with reforming the justice system are those who benefit from its corruption. A truly reformed system would benefit everyone who properly carries out their duties. But when you’re deeply racist, that change seems indistinguishable from treason.

A Message to Nazi Fascist John Guandolo and his kind

These are the Antifa, or the Anti-Fascists, warriors who stand up to punk Fascist Nazi cunts like John Guandolo. See you fucking shitstain Fascist John, we are still around and you cunts know we kicked your fucking asses three times so far. You want to go for a fourth? This time? We of Antifa? Will be wiping you fucking troglodytes off the face of the earth so you never pop your foul, evil, vile heads back up to harm humanity ever again.
It would take me great pleasure to do this to you John. Come and run your fucking mouth to me you Nazi cunt punk.

Extremists Are Using Facebook to Organize for Civil War Amid Coronavirus And Mark Zuckerberg, Sheryl Sandburg and Facebook actually creates White Supremacist Business Pages from this

Extremists Are Using Facebook to Organize for Civil War Amid Coronavirus

The groups are fanning fears of government lockdowns as they prepare for an uprising they call the “boogaloo.”

Online extremists are using Facebook to plan and organize for a militant uprising in the United States as they cast coronavirus lockdowns as a sign of rising government suppression, according to a Tech Transparency Project investigation.

A review by TTP found 125 Facebook groups devoted to the “boogaloo,” the term that far-right extremists use to describe a coming civil war. More than 60% of the groups were created in the last three months, as Covid-19 quarantines took hold in the U.S., and they’ve attracted tens of thousands of members in the last 30 days.

In several private boogaloo Facebook groups that TTP was able to access, members discussed tactical strategies, combat medicine, and various types of weapons, including how to develop explosives and the merits of using flame throwers. Some members appeared to take inspiration from President Donald Trump’s recent tweets calling on people to “liberate” states where governors have imposed stay-at-home orders.

The fact that Facebook is letting such activity proliferate, despite explicit threats of violence to government authorities, is another sign of the company’s inability to manage harmful content on its platform—even among groups that make no secret of their intentions.

Some boogaloo supporters see the public health lockdowns and other directives by states and cities across the country as a violation of their rights, and they’re aiming to harness public frustration at such measures to rally and attract new followers to their cause.

The concept of the boogaloo has been gaining in popularity recently, and it’s become a meme among a range of far-right extremist groups. On public Facebook pages, supporters of the movement circulate satirical posts about the overthrow of government, painting the boogaloo as a viral online phenomenon rather than a real-world threat.

But communications of boogaloo supporters in private Facebook groups accessed by TTP tell a different story: extremists exchanging detailed information and tactics on how to organize and execute a revolt against American authorities. This activity is occurring without any apparent intervention by Facebook.

Of the 125 boogaloo-focused Facebook groups identified by TTP, 63% (79) were created between February and April of this year. The groups count 72,686 members, though it wasn’t clear how many individuals may be members of more than one group. Nearly half of the members (36,117) have joined the groups within the past 30 days.

TTP identified the boogaloo groups based on their names, which often incorporated slang and other terms used by supporters to reference the coming civil war, such as “boog,” “big igloo,” and “boojihadeen.” The majority of the groups—112, or roughly 89%—are private, which means Facebook users must request to join and be approved by moderators in order to view the discussions.

TTP was able to gain access to several of these closed groups. But even when TTP didn’t gain entry into private groups, it was able to glean basic information about them. Facebook allows non-members to see data like the groups’ date of creation, number of members, growth rate of membership within a 30-day period, and number of posts during that period.

A Troubling Trend

Both the public and private boogaloo groups that TTP reviewed appear to violate Facebook policies. The platform’s Community Standards on “Violence and Criminal Behavior” explicitly ban facilitating, organizing or promoting “harmful activities targeted at people.” They also prohibit “statements of intent to commit high-severity violence.” Yet membership in the groups appears to have grown unchecked on Facebook in recent months.

Facebook has been on notice about the issue since at least February, when the Network Contagion Research Institute, an organization that tracks misinformation and hate on social media, published a report about how the use of the boogaloo to advocate for extreme violence has spread across social media over the past few months. In response to NBC inquiries about the report, a Facebook spokesperson said the company is tracking such activity.

“We’ve been studying trends around this and related terms on Facebook and Instagram. We don’t allow speech used to incite hate or violence, and will remove any content that violates our policies. We’ll continue to monitor this across our platform.”

Despite this promise, an April study by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), a London-based think tank that studies extremism, found that “COVID-19 is being used to advance calls for the ‘boogaloo,’” and that two boogaloo-related Facebook groups have seen large spikes in engagement in recent months. One of the groups, Big Igloo Bois, saw an 88% jump in interactions in March, according to the study.

Trump’s tweets about liberating Virginia, Michigan and Minnesota appear to have energized some elements of the boogaloo movement. TTP found that some members of private boogaloo Facebook groups reacted to the president’s rhetoric with memes of celebration and traded details of anti-quarantine protests in Richmond, Virginia, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Facebook later began removing posts promoting the protests in states like California, New Jersey and Nebraska, saying it takes the action “when gatherings do not follow the health parameters established by the government and are therefore unlawful.”

The company’s enforcement, however, appears to be piecemeal. TTP found protest announcements promoted in private boogaloo Facebook groups that remained active after Facebook’s action. One event encouraged people to attend a Wisconsin protest slated for April 24, even though the state is under a stay-at-home order until May 26. The event page lists more than 3,200 people as attending and another 12,000 as interested.

Clothing Line in Public, Civil War in Private

Among the most popular boogaloo-themed pages on Facebook is Thicc Boog Line, a boogaloo clothing brand that has generated nearly 30,000 followers since its October 2019 founding. Thicc Boog Line sells boogaloo-branded clothing and accessories, using its Facebook page to promote merchandise and periodically post memes related to opportunities for the boogaloo in the time of Covid-19.

The Thicc Boog Line page is also an administrator of at least 11 private Facebook groups related to preparations for a civil war. The groups are organized into tactical roles such as intelligence collection, technology, communication, machinery, combat medicine, and weapons discussion. They also have a “backup group” to be used in the event that the others are removed from Facebook.

TTP’s analysis found that Thicc Boog Line and other boogaloo group admins explicitly ban memes from their private groups to keep members focused on serious dialogue around organizing ranks and sharing intelligence. The groups engage in national-level coordination or act as state and local chapters where users share tactical information and survival tips, ranging from topographic map access to instructions for evading authorities.

One of the largest boogaloo groups identified by TTP is moderated by Thicc Boog Line. The group, “BoojieBastards: Intelligence and Surveillance,” has gained over 6,600 members since it was created on February 16—a rate of over 100 new members per day.

Videos related to the boogaloo are also generating significant viewership on other platforms. TTP found that a YouTube video on the “Top 5 Boogaloo Guns” had more than 25,000 views just five hours after it was posted. The YouTube channel that published the video has over 2.3 million subscribers.

Boogaloo Organizers Include White Supremacists

Organizations that study far right groups, including the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Institute for Strategic Dialogue, have found that the boogaloo has ties to white supremacist movements. TTP’s analysis of private boogaloo Facebook groups found that some members’ profiles include images of Hitler and suggest white supremacist ideologies. But other members (including many of the admins) state that they do not align with white supremacists.

TTP found that members of the BoojieBastards: Intelligence and Surveillance Facebook group include users identifying as veterans, active military, retired and active police, supporters and detractors of President Trump, and average citizens with no obvious political ideology. Many of them share an interest in preparing for a civil war, and they have identified the government-led Covid-19 lockdowns as a critical moment.

Discussions among the group members show mixed feelings about using Facebook as a means of communication. One member post on March 20 chastised others for not being careful enough while talking about civil war preparations on social media, noting that “the boog[aloo] is a class of sleep cell organization and sleeper cells work on the basis that you don’t post about it.”

Members of these groups have posted channels for communications on outside apps like Discord, but the fact that they’re posting them on Facebook suggests they’re still reliant on the social network’s reach.

Facebook is the largest social media platform in the world, giving domestic extremists access to  millions of potential recruits. Facebook had 248 million monthly active users in the U.S. and Canada at the end of 2019. The functions in Facebook groups allow for focused and relatively private communications, features that have been enjoyed by criminal organizations as well.

Documents Detail Civil War Plan

Boogaloo group members have used the Files function in Facebook groups to upload dozens of planning documents, including military manuals, CIA handbooks, and instructions on how to reuse N95 facemasks, among other material. Many of the files are digital versions of open source data and military operations information. One, called The Anarchist Cookbook, is notorious for its instructions on bomb making.

The most concerning document is one entitled Yeetalonians, a reference to the boogaloo. At over 133 pages, the document provides an in-depth look at preparing for the boogaloo and offers advice on what weapons should be used, what propaganda to distribute, and how to psychologically win over civilians to the cause.

The document mentions “target selection,” noting that assassinations of figureheads are “overrated” but “some people have to go.” It discusses how to disrupt U.S. government supply lines, noting that “national guard depots, police stations and factories that produce munitions are all very solid targets.” On propaganda, meanwhile, the document notes that the most important job is “to make the enemy (government forces) see that they are not fighting terrorists, they are fighting their own countrymen who simply love liberty.”Slides of the Yeelatonians document (screenshots):

One Boogaloo Fan

A Facebook profile that appears to be a pseudonym for an Arkansas man named Aaron Swenson—who was arrested after live-streaming himself on Facebook looking for a police officer to kill, according to authorities—has liked more than a dozen pages that mention boogaloo in their names, including Thicc Boog Line.

Some Facebook users leaving comments on the profile on the night of the attempted attack endorsed the targeting of police officers, while others suggested calling 911 in response to the live broadcast. The two videos remain active on the Facebook page and have amassed over 1,500 and 3,400 views, respectively.

After Swenson’s arrest, one boogaloo supporter, posting in the BoojieBastards: Intelligence and Surveillance group, said those who encouraged the attack “ended this man’s life,” while another called unprovoked violence “a danger to the group and movement.”
