The REAL Abortion? 21,000 children die each day

Today, around 21,000 children died around the world

https://www.globalissues.org/article/715/today-21000-children-died-around-the-world

Today, around 21,000 children died around the world. How about they give a damn more about all these children first?
That is equivalent to:

1 child dying every 4 seconds
14 children dying every minute
A 2011 Libya conflict-scale death toll every day
A 2010 Haiti earthquake occurring every 10 days
A 2004 Asian Tsunami occurring every 11 days
An Iraq-scale death toll every 19–46 days
Just under 7.6 million children dying every year
Some 92 million children dying between 2000 and 2010

The silent killers are poverty, hunger, easily preventable diseases and illnesses, and other related causes. Despite the scale of this daily/ongoing catastrophe, it rarely manages to achieve, much less sustain, prime-time, headline coverage.

From UNICEF, the world’s premier children’s organization, part of the United Nations:

2.5 billion people lack access to improved sanitation
1 billion children are deprived of one or more services essential to survival and development
148 million under 5s in developing regions are underweight for their age
101 million children are not attending primary school, with more girls than boys missing out
22 million infants are not protected from diseases by routine immunization
7.6 million children worldwide died before their 5th birthday in 2010
4 million newborns worldwide are dying in the first month of life
2 million children under 15 are living with HIV
>500,000 women die each year from causes related to pregnancy and childbirth

Global Issues

Social, Political, Economic and Environmental Issues That Affect Us All

World Child Hunger Facts

Nutritious foods in adequate amounts are essential for everyone but particularly for children. In early childhood, adequate nutrition can ensure healthy growth, proper organ formation and function, a strong immune system, and neurological and cognitive development. Nutrition, too, has increasingly been recognized as a basic pillar for social and economic development. Well-nourished people can learn new skills, think critically and contribute to their communities. Improving child nutrition impacts global, national and regional child survival, primary education, women’s empowerment, and maternal and child health rates.

On the flip side, child malnutrition hurts cognitive function and contributes to poverty by impeding people’s ability to lead productive lives. Poverty is the leading cause of hunger, but poverty also results from hunger, in a cyclical relationship. In spite of the importance of childhood nutrition and significant progress in the last 25 years, global childhood hunger is still rampant.

Overall, 5.6 million children under age five died in 2016, nearly 15,000 daily (World Health Organization [WHO], 2016). The risk of a child dying before five years of age is highest in Africa (76.5 per 1000 live births), about 8 times higher than in Europe (9.6 per 1000 live births) (WHO, 2016).

Approximately 3.1 million children die from undernutrition each year (UNICEF, 2018a). Hunger and undernutrition contribute to more than half of global child deaths, as undernutrition can make children more vulnerable to illness and exacerbate disease (UNICEF, 2018a).

Children who are poorly nourished suffer up to 160 days of illness each year (Glicken, M.D., 2010). Undernutrition magnifies the effect of every disease including measles and malaria. The estimated proportions of deaths in which undernutrition is an underlying cause are roughly similar for diarrhea (61%), malaria (57%), pneumonia (52%), and measles (45%) (Black, Morris, & Bryce, 2003; Bryce et al., 2005). Malnutrition can also be caused by diseases, such as the diseases that cause diarrhea, by reducing the body’s ability to convert food into usable nutrients (Black, Morris, & Bryce, 2003; Bryce et al., 2005)

66 million primary school-age children attend classes hungry across the developing world, 23 million whom live in Africa, which greatly impacts their ability to learn (World Food Programme [WFP], 2012).

UNDERSTANDING CHILDHOOD MALNUTRITION

STUNTING (children significantly below standard height for their age)

Globally, about 151 million under-five-year-olds are estimated to be stunted in 2013.(UNICEF, WHO and The World Bank, 2018).

The global trend in stunting prevalence and numbers affected is decreasing. Between 2000 and 2017, stunting prevalence declined from 33% to 22% and numbers declined from 198 million to 151 million (UNICEF, 2018a). However, the regions of West and Central Africa have actually seen an increase in numbers of stunted children – from about 23 million to 29 million (UNICEF, 2018a).

In 2017, about half of all stunted children lived in Asia and over one third in Africa (UNICEF, WHO & The World Bank, 2018). Stunting is a public health problem but often goes unrecognized.

UNDERWEIGHT (children significantly below standard weight for their age)

Globally, 99 million under-five-year-olds were underweight in 2013, most of whom lived in Asia and Africa (Krasevec et al., 2014). The global trend in underweight prevalence continues to decrease; going from 25% to 13.5% between 1990 and 2017 (The World Bank, 2017).

The underweight prevalence in Africa decreased from 23% in 1990 to 17% in 2013, while in Asia, for the same period, the prevalence was reduced from 32% to 18%. In Latin America and the Caribbean the underweight prevalence decreased from 8% to 3% (Krasevec et al., 2014).

WASTING (children significantly below standard height to weight ratios)

Globally, 51 million under-five-year-olds were wasted and 16 million were severely wasted (UNICEF 2018a)

Wasting prevalence is estimated at 7.5% and severe wasting prevalence at 2.4% (UNICEF, 2018a).

Wasting in the under-five-year-olds group decreased by 13% from 1990 to 2013.

In 2017, approximately two thirds of all wasted children lived in Asia (mostly in South-Central Asia) and about one-quarter in Africa, with similar proportions for severely wasted children (UNICEF, 2018a)

MICRONUTRIENT DEFICIENCIES (Micronutrient – vital minerals and vitamins – deficiencies are caused by disease or inadequate consumption of nutritious foods).

Vitamin A deficiency affects about a third of children in low and middle-income countries, which increase a child’s risk of contracting infectious diseases by weakening the immune system (UNICEF, 2018b).

Zinc deficiency in low-income countries affects the immune and gastrointestinal systems, contributing to a major cause in under-five deaths – diarrhea (UNICEF, 2018b).

About 30% of the world’s population lives in areas where diets do not contain sufficient amounts of iodine, resulting in poor brain development (UNICEF, 2018b). The lack of micronutrients in children can be greatly influenced by the mother’s health, especially during pregnancy. In low-income countries, pregnant women who are malnourished may lack essential micronutrients for fetal development, such as iodine, zinc, iron, folate and vitamin D (Gernand et al., 2016).

For example, low iron in the mother can result in low birthweight of the infant, increasing the infant’s susceptibility to disease, a known contributor in the cycle of malnutrition (Gernand et. al., 2016).

According to UNICEF (2018b), about 40% of pregnant women and 40% of children under five years of age in developing countries are anemic, half of whom are estimated to be iron deficient.

THE DOUBLE BURDEN OF MALNUTRITION (The coexistence of undernutrition and overnutrition within individuals, families or populations)

Malnutrition encompasses both undernutrition and overnutrition. Some countries face this double burden of malnutrition, where undernutrition occurs along with overweight, obesity or diet-related diseases (WHO, 2017).

In some countries, like Egypt, Iraq and Vanuatu, for example, stunting is greater than 20% of their under-five population, while adult obesity is greater than 20% (FAO et al., 2017).

This double burden is becoming increasingly common in low and middle-income countries (WHO, 2017).

Globally, about 41 million children under five years old were overweight or obese (WHO, 2017).

About 155 million children under five years old were chronically undernourished (WHO, 2017). *

Undernourishment is a general term for receiving insufficient food and nutrients for growth (Merriam-Webster, 2018). It may lead to a child being underweight, a term that describes an individual below the median body measurements (weight for age) for a population (UNICEF, n.d.).

Source: WHO, 2018

What are some contributors? Early life nutrition. The amount of nutrition received during the fetal development period can determine much of the child’s future health (WHO, 2017).

o Low birthweight infants are at higher risk for metabolic disease (conditions that include high cholesterol and high blood sugar) (WHO, 2017).

o On the other hand, women who are overweight during pregnancy may have infants with larger weight, placing them at greater risk for obesity later (WHO, 2017).

Socioeconomic status and inequality. Low socioeconomic status impacts a family’s ability to buy adequately nutritious food (WHO, 2017).

While upper and middle-income countries have the highest prevalence of overweight, the prevalence in low and middle-income countries is still sizeable ¬– between 10% and 30% (WHO, 2017).

Food Systems. Diets high in saturated fats, salt and sugar are becoming more prominent, replacing nutritious diets, as they are sometimes more affordable or accessible (WHO, 2017).

Source: (GAIN) https://www.gainhealth.org; Global Nutrition Report 2015 The prevalence of stunting, wasting and underweight among children under-five years of age worldwide has significantly decreased since 1990. This is good news, but overall progress on malnutrition is insufficient, and millions of children remain hungry. Any child suffering from these conditions is at substantial increased risk of severe, acute malnutrition, illness and death.

COMBATING CHILD HUNGER

Medical Treatment of Child Malnutrition
While some hunger prevention practices involve better access to nutritious foods and health care, as well as improving water and sanitation, short-term solutions for severe undernutrition commonly use ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF). Used to treat undernourished children under five years of age, RUTF is ideal for treatment at home; it contains micronutrients, does not need to be cooked, and can be stored for a long time (UNICEF, 2015).

Large Scale Approaches

In the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the United Nations sets global goals to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger (FAO et al., 2017).

Approaches by international organizations and programs to combat child hunger in lower-middle-income countries involve agriculture sustainability; emphasis on maternal health, education and empowerment; community and household education on nutrition; and partnerships with governments to fortify micronutrient levels in food.

Below are examples of some of the work in eradicating child hunger:

UNICEF (UNICEF, 2018b) Community-based approach to promote breastfeeding and encourage diet diversity, involving a variety of local foods; Vitamin A supplementation programs for children under-five-years old; Support of government programs to supplement iron folic acid supplementation during pregnancy to ensure proper fetal development; Support governments in implementing mass food fortification – for example, universal salt iodization.

World Food Programme (WFP, 2018) Invest in the agricultural supply chain and rural infrastructure (roads to transport food and ways to store food); Encourage the expansion of social protection (in some countries, in the form of cash transfers) for the poorest 2 billion in the world, creating the potential for economic growth so that poor households can afford proper food and medical care.

Action Against Hunger (Action Against Hunger, 2017) Provision of local, accessible outpatient treatment for undernourished children (community management of acute malnutrition – CMAM); Educating and supporting mothers in best feeding practices to ensure healthy child development; Ensuring access to supplementary foods for particularly vulnerable populations; Capacity building by training health workers to treat undernutrition and working to strengthen local health care systems. Christians Sure Do Hating Reaping What They Sow and Having Done Unto Them as They Do Unto Others in their Hypocrisy

A Christo who hates the idea of Christians reaping what they have sown and having done unto them as Christians have done to us Native Americans, or us atheists, or lgbts, or Pagans, or Jews, or even many others, including? Their fellow Christians even. They cannot stand a strong atheist like myself telling them off either or exposing all their Christian haters or all their Christian pedophiles and of course? Then plays the flip game and proclaims me the hater lmfao. As usual? The hypocrisy of Christians and Christianity? Fully Exposed.

Of course too? In their psychotic ChristoFascist bullshit? They deny Christians? Ever committed acts of mass slaughter, mass genocides, etc and not one of those that Christians have persecuted or persecute to this day? Has no right to hate on them. Oh no, atheists, lgbts, Pagans, and all others? Should continue to turn the other cheek to them, as they smash that side in, and we should love all those who hate us, because if we do not? We are the haters and promoters of hate. Fucking Cocksuckers for Christ they are.

A Christo gets his ass handed to him in my response to his hypocritical bullshit against me.

What a troglodyte Christian hypocrite you are.So I am supposed to be more Christian than you Christians and love those who hate me? Love those who demand I be put to death simply because I am an atheist and do not believe in your foul, evil god? Even if your god was real? THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD EVER BOW DOWN TO IT.

YOUR god? Is a child rapist, a child murderer and an advocate of child butchery. He is an advocate for the rapes of virgins. He is an advocate for slaughter and mass murder. Of course? YOU Christians? Demand we have no right to judge your psychotic, brutal, foul and evil god but he has every right to judge us? Yeah right.

And? YOU Christians? Feel in your hypocrisy? YOU got a right to judge others? But no one has a right to judge any of you.

Well? Suck it up and deal with it you troglodyte Christian. Go crawl back into your deep, dark cave of ignorance and superstition of our Bronze Age ancestors.

Oh and this? Is taken from your bible. And? It applies to ALL you Christians.

Galatians 6:7: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Luke 6:31: And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

Matthew 7:12: “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

This? Is against you Christians? Judging ANY other human being.

Matthew 7:1-5: “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Matthew 12:36-37: 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Luke 6:37-42: 37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

James 4:11-12: 11 Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister[a] or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

Romans 2:1-3: You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?

So? All your Christian Pastors of Hate and all their pew polishers who shout heart amens and praise the lords over their spewing hate and death and judging others? Will also reap what they have sown and be judged as they judged others and receive the exact same penalty that they? Rendered unto those? They judged. All you Christians? Will in fact? Reap back all you have sown and done unto others. like? Us Native Americans, or Pagans, or lgbts, or atheists, or many others? Christians have persecuted and continue to persecute to this very day. And all you Christians? Are actually? Not Christians yourselves if YOU spew one ounce of hate? Towards ANYONE. 1 John 2:9-17: 9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. 10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them. 1 John 3:14-15: 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him. 1 John 4:19-20: 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen Leviticus 19:17-18 You must not hate your brother in your heart. You must surely reprove your fellow citizen so that you do not incur sin on account of him. You must not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people, but you must love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things the Lord hates— no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family. Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.

So? As long as there is even one Christian out there? Preaching hate and death against others? Then? I will be all up in their faces and demand? As they sow? So shall they reap and as they want to do unto us atheists, or do to lgbts, or to Native Americans, or to Pagans? Shall be done right back unto them.

So? Suck it up and deal with it, cause I will stop hating on you Christians? WHEN ALL YOU CHRISTIANS? STOP HATING ON OTHERS.

God Given Morals of Christians

Their god given moral told them it was perfectly ok to commit the worst act of mass genocide and extermination against my Native American ancestors under their Manifest Destiny theology.

To slaughter and butcher millions of the original inhabitants of North, Central and South America, forcing them on death marches to death camps, raping and pillaging the Nations, brutalizing them. Taking the children and forcing them into their brainwashing Christian schools where Christians sought to remove any and all trace of their Native American heritage, through violence, beatings, starvations, rapes and outright murder of these children.

While proclaiming themselves the Civilized Ones bringing the religion of peace and love and non-judgment of Christianity to us savage injuns. Stealing our lands in their massacres of us. Slaughtering our game to starve us. Committing acts of Crimes Against Humanity in their biological warfare against us.

It told them it was ok to commit acts of mass murder in their 9 forced conversion programs against the Pagans of Northern Europe. It told them it was ok in 322 AD to proclaim Paganism a death penalty punishment and invade their countries and under their ChristoFascist Taliban ways? Slaughter whole towns of Pagans, murder Pagan priests and priestesses, beat to death Pagan children on the spot who were found playing with Pagan statutes as if they were playing with a doll. Destroying Pagan temples and then? Stealing all the Pagan holy days and rituals and converting them to their own use of Christianity.

It told them it was ok to slaughter whole towns of Jewish people, to blame them for the Black Death, etc. To wipe out Jewish towns of people because they said they murdered their Christian Lord and Savior, despite the fact that all what Christians teach goes against everything that Jewish theology and Old Testament teachings of theirs. It did not matter they literally hijacked the Hebrew religious beliefs and converted them to their Christian ones and then? Slaughtered, butchered and murdered the Jews.

It told them it was ok for them to build some of the most foul, evil and diabolocal torture machines to use on their fellow human beings they proclaimed as witches and heretics, and of course scientists who they disagreed with because the scientist proved them wrong.

It told them it was ok to own their fellow human beings as slaves. To even fight wars over the owning of another human being as a slave. Because hey, god commanded slavery in the bible, so according to gods morals? It is perfectly ok for Christians to own another human being as a slave.

It told them it was ok to go to war over differences in their belief in a god and a Jesus and slaughter whole nations and decimate their populations, like in the Thirty Year War between the Catholics and Protestants.

Yeah, Christian morality from their god and Jesus and leaders who order them to go out and slaughter people? Sure leaves a whole freaking lot to be desired. But of course? In their apologist hypocrisy? They will play the No True Scotsman line of apologetic bullshit to proclaim those people who did those things were not True Christians lmfao.

And of course? They say the same for the hundreds of thousands of Christian priests and pastors busted for raping kids, while they blame lgbts, atheists and Pagans for their rampant pedophilia.

The Hypocrisy of the Reich-Wing Trumpanzees: Religious Left — Andelino’s Weblog

Despite liberals frequently referencing God, the Bible, and Jesus, there is no “Religious Left.” It is an oxymoron because the two “sets of belief systems” are mutually exclusive. The Bible speaks of such people, Paul wrote, “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for […]

Religious Left — Andelino’s Weblog

Bible believing “Jesus” followers must not be “confused” merely by a person’s quoting of “Scripture,” remember Satan himself quoted Scripture to Jesus during the “temptation” and frequently twists it in today’s society to “deceive” Christians who do not yet have a “firm foundation in God’s word.”

AMR Response Funny isn’t it? How one of the first modes of attack against the Christian Left is to denigrate and dehumanize them? That is the first line of attack along with projection by the ChristoFascist Reich-Wingers of their actions upon the Christian Left. Blame the Christian Left for what the ChristoFascists of the Reich-Wingers do.

It is the same trick that Adolph Hitler and his Aryian White Supremacist ChristoTaliban “Positive Christianity” Nazis did during WWII.

It is the same line of attack the ChristoTaliban invaders of this country and put the original inhabitants the Native Americans to death in their mass genocide against us. They demonized us, projected all their evil upon us and then it made it easier for other Christians to slaughter us.

It is the same line of attack the ChristoTalibans used against the Pagans when they invaded their countries in their forced conversion programs.

It is the same line of attack the ChristoTalibans used to put to brutal deaths those they proclaimed as witches, heretics and our scientists whom proved the religious Reich-Winger ChristoFascists wrong in their teachings and theology.

It is the same line of attack the ChristoTalibans used to go to war against each other. Catholics calling Protestants not True Christians and Protestants doing the same to Catholics, each demonizing and dehumanizing each other which made it easier for them to get their brain-washed and mind controlled zombie Christian followers to go out and slaughter each other just because they worshiped the same God and Jesus Christ in different ways.

This is the same kind of attack against the Christian Left, of which? There are many more True Christians in their midsts than there ever will be in the ChristoTaliban Fascist Reich-Wingers like the idiots of Andelino’s Reich-Wing blog. And this is why the Fake Christians like Andelino attack the True Christians of the Christian Left.

ChristoTalibans like this fool always play the projection and dehumanization game to denigrate and defame their opponents.

Typical Hypocrite Trumpanzee Hater: Pete Buttigieg Taunts God — Andelino’s Weblog

“Gay” South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg “implied” those who oppose the minimum wage “taunt” the Creator who said in Leviticus 20:13 “If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be […]

Pete Buttigieg Taunts God — Andelino’s Weblog
I really love hypocrite pieces of shit who call themselves Christians like this assclown. He will cherry pick his buybull verses to spew his hate against Mayor Peter Buttigieg, while defending his Adulterer in Chief Donald J Trump.

And now, while yes, this ChristoTaliban hypocrite buybull does condemn homosexuals? That is contained in only three verses throughout the whole buybull. But? How about all those verses on adultery huh?

Seems ChristoFascist Talibans like this Cocksucker for Commie Christ will call out a homosexual, but defend and praise an adulterer, a proven pathological liar, a proven pervert, and a proven scumbag like Donald J Trump. But let’s see what their own buybull says about adulterers shall we?
Donald J Trump the adulterer in chief and his Trumpanzees taunt Jesus Christ and God with their support of this piece of shit.

Bible Verses Against Adultery

Leviticus 20:10 If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Deuteronomy 22:22-24 If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel. “If there is a betrothed virgin, and a man meets her in the city and lies with her, then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbor’s wife. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

Matthew 5:25-30 You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

Matthew 5:31, 32 It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Malachi 3:5 Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.

Malachi 2:14-16 But you say, “Why does he not?” Because the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant. Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth. “For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”

Luke 18:18-20 And a ruler asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother.’”

Mark 7:23 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.

Romans 13:9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Romans 7:2,3 For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

Jeremiah 22:3-5: Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place. For if you will indeed obey this word, then there shall enter the gates of this house kings who sit on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their servants and their people. But if you will not obey these words, I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that this house shall become a desolation.

Ezekiel 47: 21-23: “So you shall divide this land among you according to the tribes of Israel. You shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the sojourners who reside among you and have had children among you. They shall be to you as native-born children of Israel. With you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. In whatever tribe the sojourner resides, there you shall assign him his inheritance, declares the Lord God.

Bible Verses Proving Trump, Trumpanzees and Repugnants are NOT Christians

Matthew 25: 35-40: 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Matthew 19: 16-30: 16 A man came to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to have eternal life?” 17 Jesus answered, “Why do you ask me about what is good? Only God is good. But if you want to have eternal life, obey the law’s commands.” 18 The man asked, “Which ones?” Jesus answered, “‘You must not murder anyone, you must not commit adultery, you must not steal, you must not tell lies about others, 19 you must respect your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor the same as you love yourself.’ 20 The young man said, “I have obeyed all these commands. What else do I need?” 21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, then go and sell all that you own. Give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven. Then come and follow me!” 22 But when the young man heard Jesus tell him to give away his money, he was sad. He didn’t want to do this, because he was very rich. So he left. 23 Then Jesus said to his followers, “The truth is, it will be very hard for a rich person to enter God’s kingdom. 24 Yes, I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter God’s kingdom.”

Matthew 22:36-40: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Matthew 7: 21-23: 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Yes, the hypocrisy of these Twisted Trumpanzee Fascist pigs is just never ending. They will call out Mayor Peter Buttigieg on the fact he is an open homosexual, who is married, who actually served honorably in the military, not unlike their piece of shit hero Donald J Trump, Commander Bone Spurs who is a proven adulterer, who is a pedo pervert towards young girls and his daughters, who is a proven thief and con-artist, a proven tax cheat and fraud, a proven bigot and racist. He certainly is no fucking Christian.

Christians Are Nothing But In The Closet Practicing Pagans: Candelaria

Candelaria

Christianity did not become a major religion by the quality of its truth, but by the quantity of its violence

Candlemas (also spelled Candlemass), is  also known as the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus Christ and the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a Christian Holy Day commemorating the presentation of Jesus at the Temple. It is based upon the account of the presentation of Jesus in Luke 2:22–40 which is the gospel today.

We had a short procession after the blessing of candles outside the church.  We had to light at least one candle while going inside the church. It was a lovely celebration with our good friend Fr. Aly officiating.  All my candles at home were previously blessed and we usually use them at the altar during prayers at home.   It is better to light a candle than to stumble in the dark.

Tomorrow is the Feast of St. Blaise. Blaise is venerated as a saint in the Roman Catholic church. A doctor, he is a patron saint of those sufferers from throat diseases. I told Nissa to hear mass too so her throat would be blessed.

I love these Catholic rituals that we observe throughout the year.  They strengthen my faith and beliefs.

You ought to check out the Pagan’s Imbolic from which you Christians butchered and slaughtered during your Christian forced conversion Crusades into Northern Paganlands, and stole their Imbolic and converted it to the Christian Candlemas. Also? Same thing with Yule, which you Christians stole and converted to your Christmas and of course Ostara which you Christians stole and converted to your Easter. Along with your All Saints Day which you all converted from the Pagan’s Samhain.

All you Christians are? Are a bunch of in the closet practicing Pagans lmfao.

Celebrating Candlemas Day

Learn about the origins of Candlemas day plus ways to celebrate this Pagan holiday which promises of the return of the light and the renewal of life.

Feb. 2 is one of the great cross-quarter days which make up the wheel of the year. It falls midway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox and in many traditions is considered the beginning of spring.

In Western Europe, this was the time for preparing the fields for the first planting. Pamela Berger has written a book, The Goodess Obscured: Transformation of the Grain Protectress from Goddess to Saint, about the rituals celebrated at this time of year, when the ground is first awakened and the seed placed in the belly of the earth. This is a significant moment in a community which depends on the earth for sustenance. The fields were purified and offerings were made to the goddess.

The promises of the return of the light and the renewal of life which were made at the winter solstice are now becoming manifest. It’s the dawn of the year. It’s the time when a woman who is pregnant begins showing. It’s time to creep out of the hibernation of winter, cautiously, like the Ground Hog who supposedly emerges on this day to check his shadow. It’s the time of germination. This is a traditional time for new beginnings. Covens of witches usually initiate new members at this time.

What is the best way to celebrate? Candles and Christmas Greens The main element of your decorating scheme for Candlemas is fairly obvious: candles. You can gather all the candles in your home in one room and light them from one central candle. Or place a candle in each window (but watch them carefully).

Candlemas is one of the traditional times for taking down Christmas decorations (Twelfth Night, on Jan. 6, is the other). If you are very careful (because they are tinder dry), you can burn them. Or, better yet, return them to the earth mother by using them for compost or mulch.

Certain foods are traditional for Candlemas, including crepes, pancakes and cakes, all grain-based foods. Pancakes and crepes are considered symbols of the sun because of their round shape and golden color.

If you have a fireplace, clean out your hearth and light a new fire. Sit around the fire and reflect on your hopes for the coming year. What do you hope to accomplish? What are you passionate about? What seeds do you wish to plant? Discuss these ideas with others or write them down in a journal, but make them concrete in some way so that on Lammas (Aug. 2, the festival of the first harvest), you can look back to see your progress.

Brigid is the goddess of creative inspiration as well as reproductive fertility. This is a good time for sharing creative work, or, if you don’t think of yourself as especially creative, an idea that worked or a plan that materialized. Thank the Goddess for her inspiration, perhaps by dedicating a future work to her.

Since Candlemas is a time of new beginnings, this is also a good day to celebrate all things new. Plan a ceremony to name a new baby, officially welcome a new person into a family or plight your troth to your beloved. Make a commitment to a goal, like a New Year’s resolution. This would be an especially powerful thing to do in a group.

In San Francisco, the Reclaiming Collective sponsors a public ritual called Brigid, which focuses on political commitment. After acknowledging despair over the events of the past year, the participants reflect on the source of their own power and then make a pledge in front of the community about the work they intend to do during the coming year. During this ritual, the flames in a cauldron represent Brigid’s Sacred Flame, the fire of inspiration and passion, while a punch bowl filled with waters gathered from all over the world represents Brigid’s Holy Well, the source of healing and purification.

If you plan your own ceremony, use these two powerful symbols: fire and water. For instance, wash your hands and bathe your face in salt water, which is especially good for purification. Light a candle as you make your pledge. Incorporate the third symbol of the holiday–seeds–by planting a seed or bulb in a pot to symbolize your commitment, or by blessing a bowl or packet of seeds that you will plant later.

Since the Christian season of Lent can sometimes begin as early as Feb. 4, some Candlemas customs have became associated with Shrove Tuesday or Mardi Gras (the day before Lent’s beginning on Ash Wednesday), which is a time of purification.

Have you ever given anything up for Lent? If not, you might consider it. You don’t have to be Christian to gain spiritual benefits from the voluntary surrender of something you cherish. You can give up something frivolous or something serious, but it should be something you will notice. Folk wisdom says it takes six weeks (or approximately the 40 days of Lent) to establish a new habit, so you may end up with a lifestyle change.

The kids in our neighborhood have eagerly embraced the idea of giving up something for Lent. We know one little girl who gave up TV for Lent and another who gave up catsup, her favorite food. In the last two years, I’ve given up alcohol and coffee for Lent. Forty days is enough time to notice the difference in the way you feel without a favorite substance or distraction.

Since Candlemas is often considered the beginning of spring, you can perform another ritual act of purification: spring cleaning. This would be a good time to do a thorough house cleaning, sweeping the floors with salt water, banishing the gloom of winter and creating a sparkling, shiny new setting for spring.

In Ireland, this holy day is called Imbolc and begins at sunset on Feb. 1, continuing through sunset Feb. 2. There are different derivations offered for the name Imbolc: from Ol-melc (ewe’s milk) because the ewes are lactating at this time, from Im-bolg (around the belly) in honor of the swelling belly of the earth goddess, and from folcaim (I wash) because of the rites of purification which took place at this time. All of these explanations capture the themes of this festival.

Feb. 1 is the feast day of St. Brigid, who began her life as a pagan goddess and ended up a Christian saint. She was a fire and fertility goddess. In her temple at Kildare, vestal virgins tended an eternal fire. On her feast day, her statue was washed in the sea (purification) and then carried in a cart through the fields surrounded by candles.

The legends about the goddess, Brigid, gradually became associated with (the somewhat spurious) Saint Brigid who founded the first convent in Ireland (where else?) at Kildare.

To celebrate St. Brigid’s day, people put a loaf of bread on the windowsill for the Saint and an ear of corn for her white cow, offerings for the grain goddess like the loaf buried in the first furrow. A small quantity of special seeds are mixed with those to be sown. Wheat stalks are woven into X-shaped crosses to serve as charms to protect home from fire and lightning.

In the Highlands, women dress the corn doll or last sheaf (from Lammas or the autumn equinox) in a bridal gown and put her in a basket, which is called the Bride’s bed. A wand, candle or other phallic object is laid across her and Bride is invited to come, for her bed is ready.

Later the Catholic Church superimposed a Christian holiday on this pagan festival. Jewish women went through a purification ceremony 40 days after the birth of a male child (80 days after the birth of a female child). So in the 6th century, Feb. 2 (39 days after Christmas) was declared the feast of the Purification of Mary. The theme of purification remained a link between the two holy days.

Like many miraculous babies, Jesus is recognized as a future hero from the time of his infancy. One of these recognitions occurs in Luke 2:21 when he is being presented in the temple (at the time of Mary’s purification ) and a holy man, Simeon, recognizes him as the Christ, calling him “a light for revelation.”

This is the ostensible reason given for the custom of bringing candles to church to be blessed by the priest on Feb. 2. They are then take home, where they serve as talismans and protections from all sorts of disasters. This custom is the origin for the name Candle-mass. In Hungary, according to Dorothy Spicer in The Book of Festivals, Feb. 2 is called Blessing of the Candle of the Happy Woman. In Poland, it is called Mother of God Who Saves Us From Thunder.

Actually, this festival has always been associated with fire. In ancient Armenia (writes Spicer), this was the date of the pagan spring festival in honor of Mihr, the God of fire. Originally, fires were built in his honor in open places and a lantern was lit which burned in the temple throughout the year. When Armenia became Christian, the fires were built in church courtyards instead. People danced about the flames, jumped over them and carried home embers to kindle their own fires from the sacred flames.
