Part Three: Cherry Picking Bible Thumphing Hypocrisy of Christians

The main problem with these kinds of radical, extreme Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians is? They are great at cherry picking which group of people they are going to go after, using cherry picked bible verses to do so, while forgetting all the other bible verses that would either condemn them for their actions, or their fellow Christians for their actions. Let us take their cherry-picking, buybull-thumping hypocrisy on the topics of homosexuality and adultery for example.

Hypocrisy One: Homosexuality and Adultery

The bible speaks out against adultery in over 49 verses. Yet? In truth? The bible only has three verses that condemns homosexuality and two of those are in the Old Testament. The word homosexuality has been added to many translations in the New Testament, but originally? The bible had only three verses that condemned homosexuality. Some speak of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah as gods condemnation of homosexuality as they say that is the reason why he destroyed it. But truth is? God destroyed it because they showed inhospitality and broke those rules, not because of homosexuality. But again, adultery is condemned in both the Old Testament and New Testament more than homosexuality is by far, and even Jesus changed the rules on adultery when he proclaimed that if you even look at another woman who is not your wife with lust in your eyes and heart? You have already committed adultery.

Matthew 5:25-30 You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

But you would not know this with the cherry picking Fundamentalist or Evangelical Christians who only seem to want to condemn homosexuals to death, etc, based basically, on the Leviticus passages. While Leviticus also condemns adulterers to death.

Leviticus 20:10 If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

And then? Here are even more verses from the bible condemning adultery.

Luke 16:18 Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.

Matthew 5:31, 32 It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Deuteronomy 5:18 ‘And you shall not commit adultery.

Deuteronomy 22:22-24 If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel. “If there is a betrothed virgin, and a man meets her in the city and lies with her, then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbor’s wife. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

Romans 2: 1-11 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.

Romans 7:2,3 For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

Romans 13:9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Mark 7:23 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”

Mark 10:11,12 And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.

Luke 18:18-20 And a ruler asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother.’”

1 Corinthians 7:10,11 To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife.

Hosea 4:2 There is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.

Jeremiah 29:23 Because they have done an outrageous thing in Israel, they have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and they have spoken in my name lying words that I did not command them. I am the one who knows, and I am witness, declares the Lord.’

Malachi 2:14-16 But you say, “Why does he not?” Because the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant. Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth. “For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”

Malachi 3:5 Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.

Now? Here is just one website by a Christian, that speaks on the topic of homosexuality in the bible, and even they admit? That their own title of their posting is false. It states 25 Bible verses about homosexuality, yet they actually go on to say in the very first paragraph of this story?

While Scripture teaches that homosexual acts are sinful, these Bible verses aren’t about condemning homosexuals, gays, lesbians, or transgender people. Rather, read God’s loving warning and offer of grace for those who have strayed from His will for sex. We live in a fallen world with a fallen nature, but in Christ, we can be new creations.

Yet? Here are the only real verses that? In the original manuscripts? Spoke out against homosexuality in the bible:

Leviticus 18:22 New International Version (NIV) ²² “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

Leviticus 20: 23: New International Version (NIV) ¹³ “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Romans 1:26-27: ²⁶ Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. ²⁷ In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

So while yes, the bible does condemn homosexuality? It condemns adultery much more. Though when you then bring this up to these cherry-picking, bible-thumping hypocrite Christian Evangelicals and Fundamentalists? Their defense then becomes? Oh well when Jesus came he did away with all those laws. But you still use those laws to condemn homosexuals, not adulterers. And then? They freak out, meltdown on you and start screaming, foaming at the mouth how you cannot possibly understand the bible, that satan has taken over your soul and you are possessed, that you are an evil, satanic atheist who is bound for hell and more than likely go to church to kidnap freshly baptized babies and use them for satanic child sacrifices or even cannibalism. And yet? Again? They cannot explain away or defend their complete and total hypocrisy on these subjects, or many others.

But I gotta ask my brothers and sister Atheists, how do you prefer cooking your freshly kidnapped, and sacrificed baptised baby? Me? I prefer first brining them in holy water for 30 minutes per pound, and then, slow smoked over hickory chips and frankinscense stolen from the church. MMMM good eats dontcha know?

Then again? I could always use the recipe in the Old Testament when god got pissed and made the Jews eat their own children, and they boiled them. I wonder if they sacrificed them to god before they boiled and ate their children?

But I digress lol.

You have psychotic ChristoTaliban Evangelicals and Fundamentalists, in their hypocrisy? Demanding that all rights to lgbts be denied, under their preaching of the bible, but not to have the same done to adulterers. They demand that all lgbts be put to death according to their bible, but not to adulterers. Whom the bible also says should be put to death.

They even stand up and defend adulterers, like Donald J Trump, but in their hypocrisy? Will condemn an lgbt in a heartbeat.
